This is the original grouping of artists and their labs and works on exhibition which was a documentary funded in part by the Shearwater Foundation (USA). Volume One is 'continuous wave' holography and holographic at, and Volume Two is 'pulsed laser' hologrpahy and holographic art conducted on the west-coast of North America in the 1980;s when this project was done.
This ongoing video documentary project (in 2D and stereoscopic 3D) on holographic artists and arts of the West-Coast US and Canada features interviews, lab and exhibition documentation of their work. These artists-holographers were pivotal in the development of holographic art and commerce on the west-coast of the U.S. and Canada during the 80's and 90's.

3D Video documentary on west-coast U.S., Canadian holographic artists
Produced and Directed by Al Razutis
Volume 4 continued the project in two important aspects: introducing the ongoing works of Al Razutis, the author of this documentary project and a pioneer who brought holographic art to Canada in the form of a cross-Canada solo exhibition Visual Alchemy exhibition (1977).
And by the important addition of research and documentation of the Sharon McCormack Collection and Archives, housed at Visual Alchemy which also contains two rare films that include holographic works by Anait Stephens 1972 - 1994.
