'Holograms in White Light'

Holographic works by Al Razutis, Sharon McCormack Collection and archives and notable others

Collage of pictures from present holographic exhibition at Visual Alchemy installed by Al Razutis

Holographic works by Al Razutis (my studio) and samples from Sharon McCormack Collection and Archives are on display now at Visual Alchemy Studio, Saturna Island, BC Canada. Additionally, selections from the nude pulsed holographic portraits of Ron Olsen (in the collection of AR) are also on view. This exhibition is 'white-light illumination' holography and features holographic stereograms, embossed holograms, pulsed laser originated white-light reflection holograms, and dichromate (DCG) holography and art.

Entrance - Room 1 - Dichromate, Pulsed, and Multiplex Holograms in White Light
This is the 'largest and most complete exhibition - collection - archives of Multiplex holography' currently in existence in (all of) Canada and the US West-Coast. It is available for special exhibition, tours, installation. See McCormack Collection & Archives Terms for more information.

4D Holographic Motion-Picture Projection Systems

Current Projects continuing since the beginnings in VA holography

Holographic Projection see it in Stereo 3D

4D Holographic Motion-Picture Systems by Al Razutis (designer, developer) are on the plate for Surreality Innovations Inc. and Visual Alchemy Studio and based on original R & D, with prototype completed and viewed. This project is covered under USA Patent Pending and we're looking for investors to bring it to market. This is true holography not pseudo and comes with color and motion and sound. Motion-picture holograms and hybrid images are projected in space as demonstrated to private interested parties in China in 2013. Contact Al Razutis alrazutis@ymail to discuss your ivestment or partnerships interests; this is B2B and NDA will be required. Give us a call when we're acquainted.

Visual Alchemy Studio has acquired full CW laser holographic capabilities with the addition of a 'single frequency' laser and required optics for creation of 'deep-scene holograms' of up to 3 meters deep. More information on productions, projects and exhibitions on the All Projects - Exhibitions is posted as info becomes available.

Holographics History at Visual Alchemy

Creations in Holographic Art and Designs since 1972

Holography was initiated at Visual Alchemy, Vancouver in the early 1970's owing in part to two 'Senior Arts Grants' from the Canada Council For the Arts Penny Jacques, Film Officer. The early works were entirely experimental, not client-driven, and in the beginnings we built our lasers, lab and patiently explored the medium until it was time for public exhibition, namely 'Visual Alchemy' 1977 (Burnaby Art Gallery) which was also toured cross-Canada exhibition and included 'Canada Day' in Ottawa opened by then Prime Minister Trudeau and facilitated by Lorraine Monk NFB Photography Division Head.

West-Coast Artists in Light

3-Part Documentary on Holographic Arts

Al Razutis' documentary film project West-Coast Artists in Light has been conducted over several decades of filming. Beginning in standard film 2D early 1990's the project moved to stereoscopoic 3D film in the late 1990's, one that highlighted the 'spatial characteristics' of holographic art and artists working in their laboratories. The resultant 3-part film is available by special arrangement for public screenings.

Wavefront Holography Magazine of the 80's

.Critical Journal. on the Arts and Commerce of Holography

Al Razutis' publishing project Wavefront Magazine was created in the 1980's as a journal of holography with the intention of combining both the business - technical aspects of holography with the arts of holography. The final paper edition was published in the 1990's, and final web edition published 2001. The history and contents of Wavefront Magazine Issues continues to this day to be a resource for the history of holography world-wide.
